Hi guys,

I got my blog installation all moved from my root domain to a sub directory. When i load up my blog, this error shows up:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in /home/myebus/public_html/blog/wp-blog-header.php on line 14"

All I had done was amended the database to point from my root directory to my sub directory. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

James

  • You might have something in your .htaccess file in the blog directory that is wrong.
Try renaming it and creating a new blank one and give it the rights 666.
If you can get to the blog after that, you will need to reset the permalinks setting.
Go to permalinks in the admin screens and click save. It will update your htaccess file to work with permalinks again.
  • James, did you change the url of your blog in your blogs admin settings? You have to do that before you move your blog because you can't get in to admin after the move if you didn't.

  • Can you please so me the blog URL? I can help if I can see it.
  • Hi i manage to get it sorted out with the help of a warrior. Nevertheless, thanks for your willingness to help.

    Thanks
