Need keyword and meta tag work done

Hi everyone. I just recently launched a new product and my sales page is getting HORRIBLE ranking in Google. I was wondering if anyone out there could do up the code I need to have on my site for keyword and meta tags. I am doing a bunch of other stuff to increase links and such but I know nothing about how to set up the meta and keyword part for my site. Any help would be appreciated.

    Is it the site listed in your signature?

    There are a number of improvements that could be made to the underlying html code that would assist your SEO efforts besides meta tags (assuming that this is the page that you're referring to).

    Yes it is the http://www.mobilemarketingmasters.com
    site. I was thinking that I might also need a google site map page?? I don't know a whole lot about SEO, so any advice would be helpful.

      There is a fair amount of debate on the importance of meta tags these days. In my experience, search engines such as Google do not pay too much attention any more following the days of trickery such as keyword stuffing etc. which was used to artificially inflate a site's ranking.

      There are many techniques that you can use to improve your ranking, some of course which have nothing to do with the page itself, i.e. inbound links etc.

      When search engines visit your pages, they index them based on various criteria and after looking over your page, here are several things that you could try to improve your ranking:-

      * your site has the styling at the top of the page and I recommend moving this into an external CSS style sheet.
      * use styling instead of tables to lessen the code on the page.
      * your site does not make use of h1, h2 etc. tags for headings. These are extremely important and the use of keywords in these tags will have a bearing on your site ranking.

      Yes, I would also advise setting up a Ror XML sitemap and then submitting it to both Google and Yahoo via their webmaster services.

        Than you for all of your input. I was wondering if you provide these services and at what cost? I don't have much right now but thought I would ask. As for your last comment about the page "redirecting to the following address after some time" I have no idea what you mean. As far as I know the page does not redirect anywhere. I have had the page up since I went live sometimes as much as an hour and nothing happens. What exactly are you seeing and when?
