Need Help with .php Shopping Cart

A client of mine has a paypal shopping cart that isn't cutting it. His product is customizable and the paypal cart requires visitors to click back to the shopping pages each time a customization or accessory is ordered.

It SHOULD be designed so that the customer selects the base product and adds customizations in the same page...once the item is configured properly, they should click "Buy Now" and it will take them to a checkout where they can use Paypal Express to pay w/ credit card.

We have received some proposals from folks that want to re-design the entire site and host it. The site is hosted at GoDaddy and the site owner does not want to move it.

Does anyone know if it's possible to do this with the free shopping carts that GoDaddy supports, like Zen Cart or OSCommerce? And is it possible to make the cart look similar to the rest of the site as far as background color and font types, etc.?

If anyone here specializes in this type of thing, let me know. We are looking for someone who can help us with JUST installing and configuring the cart.
