Linking up with PSN and XBL.

I created this as a question on Yahoo answers, but I don't think there are any smart people in there.

I have seen many gaming websites with Xbox Live achievements in member profiles, as well as Playstation Network trophies. I am very curious, on how would you get a script to read the trophies from a username in PSN or XBL, on their website.

I would love to add a script on my site that members can add games they play, as a selection, or have them displayed in their profile, directly from Xbox Live, or Playstation Network. I have seen a few simple sites implement this on their website, and I don't know where they are getting their coding source from.

  • I'm not familiar with either PSN or XBL, but from what I've found there are ways to do this. What you need is a coder to build this for you.

    • Actually, I am looking for the url to Xbox Live, or wherever I can get a live feed of member data. I heard Playstation blocked the ability for this, but I see members on gaming sites like raptr.com with a live feed to their Xbox Live account, so players know what they are playing, even if they are not a member of Xbox Live in their Xbox, and not logged into the Xbox website.

      I will need a coder, after I find out where Xbox Live shares its data.
