Hey Everyone,


I'm trying to get a few things straight with my canonical code in my header.


All of my backlinks are to "http://website.com" but my site is at "http://www.website.com"

I need the backlinks to point to "http://www.website.com"

What exactly do I put in my line of code to make the " " go to "www."


Or do I need to use a 301 redirect?

  • If you are using Wordpress..then it is easy ..just go to Site Settings and put address includin www.

    Otherwise you may need to put 301 redirect in .htaccess file.
