[Ask] Twitter Refferal Link

Hi everyone,

Everyday, almost every hours, i got confirmation from tweeter if there's someone is following me. The big question in my head is,

where do they come from???

i've been doing a twitter promote for my website, but i forgot which one (is working now)... anyone know how to check the refferer url that make someone following my twitter? :confused:

    Hi Redneo, I'm pretty sure twitter doesn't let you see that kind of information.

    They could be from various sources such as twitter search, bots, recommendation sites, etc.

    Yep, and remember that lot of people do an automatic follow when you follow them, so that could be it.

    Otherwise, they could be just spammy profiles.

    There is no way you can see referrals!
    Many peoples are searching peoples in their field so that they can follow them and they will get the follow back and that way they increase their twitter followers.
    That's why you are getting followers even if you are not promoting your twitter account.
