Proxy Server For Blog Commenting?

Hello,

I use Blog Comment Demon to find blogs to find blog post. I don't use this to spam, just to find them. I then may outsource some good comments for great PR ranked sites.

My question is, since I do a lot of searching for these should I set up proxy servers? And if so, how do I go about doing that. I don't know what it is. I hear a ton about them.

Thanks!

  • Don't think you'll need a proxy server.. I mean, unless you ARE spamming, but since you're not, you don't need one.

A Proxy Server is used to change your IP address, basically a shield to trick (some) websites into thinking your IP is something completely different.

If your IP gets blacklisted from a site from some unknown reason, then you can use a proxy server for that as well, and there are numerous CGI versions, products, and free downloads available.

    • I keep getting google message about automated queries from this IP. I just don't want to do anything that may get me in trouble with them.

  • Yeah use proxy servers.
Otherwise google might ban your IP or some thing like that.
Using proxy always keeps you in safe side.
