    It's funny because I just mentioned this in another thread.

    Go to W3schools.com, it's pretty much the authority on the web as far as php goes. They break it down into easily digested pieces and really all around make it pretty simple to learn. They also start with the very basics and build on them, they don't really offer any real advanced training but what they teach is well more than enough to get you on your way.

    Me 2. I learned from a book but for the very tricky stuff i watched viral videos for step by step teaching

    No need to buy a book for PHP. It's a really easy language. I learned it overnight to take on a new project requiring PHP & MySQL.
    I learned it at w3schools. I also use it as a reference. If working on a project, and you come across something not covered there, just Google it and copy the code.
