Convert HTML to Wordpress

I have an 2 yr old existing html website that I would like to convert to Wordpress.

I am worried that if I do this that my links, indexed pages, page rank, etc will all be lost and I'll have to start all over again.

If there is a method to move html to wordpress without sacrificing any of the above, can anyone recommend me someone who can safely do it for me.?

  • Put your mindset in wp themes... You need a header a main body, possibly a sidebar, and a footer. The header/footer shoukd be the same throughout.

  • I can do this for you. keeping the urls same in wordpress is not a big issue for me.
  • My website is now showing on page one (sixth position) so I will leave it for now. I'm too scared that any move to wordpress might upset this first page position.

  • You can create 301 redirects from your static pages to wp posts, if you only have a few pages. If you have a lot, maybe consider another option. 301 passes on PR to the destination
  • It depends on the number of pages that you have on your site, if there are only few pages than 301 redirects will serve the purpose.
  • i suggest to use seo plugin for wordpress and use Redirect 301 on .htaccess file this works good
