Sorry For The Newbie Question

Hey everyone, so this is my first post. I have been reading on the forum for a bit now and have learned a good deal but never posted anything before.

So here is my question and I want to apologize first off if I am doing anything I shouldn't. I don't quite know all the rules yet.

I found a domain name I like and have put up a site with wordpress. It is in the drum cymbal niche. After stumbling around and reading a bunch of posts I figured out how to do some things like add buttons that I made with gimp and also how to add amazon widgets and adsense to the site.

I know it is simple basic stuff for many here and as silly as it sounds I am proud of myself because at least I am moving in the right direction.

Anyhow I digress, my issue is I am have that stupid double home page in my navigation bar twice. After looking around online and on here I have an idea of what to do to fix it. It comes down to having a link to the home page in the header.php file under the editor in appearance I believe.

I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of it like using the &include function I think it is called. And even deleting the link to home but after saving and refreshing, nothing seems to work.

Sorry for the long post but if anyone sees this and would be willing to help me real quick it would be awesome.

P.S. Would also love any input about what I can do different on the site to make it look better. Just keep in mind this is my very first of many.
