What would be the single most timely and profitable thing you would use it for in IM?

(Hi Everyone)

Does anyone know where if the ONLY gap is money for programming or a less than stellar programmer, what you would do to help you rake in the most money in the shortest time? (No black-hat please)

What would you have made?

How would it make cash?

    Outsource a load of SEO work such as article creation and blog posting to somewhere like India, you can probably employ 10 people for a year for that money.
    Note that throwing money at something rarely works. I can't think of any software required for any aspects of IM that cannot be purchased for a lot less than that.
    If you get a good plan together and stick with it you will probably not need to spend the 50k or anywhere near that much.
    Unless you are thinking of having a software program written to sell on the open marketplace in which case 50k probably wouldn't cover anything commercially viable.

      Thanks for the feedback.

      Yes you could employ lots of outsourced help for that amount in a year, however if you only used the highest quality developers in India to get it done flawlessly you would have one really stellar guy for 1 year.

      I wont have to spend 50k on anything though, I can get 50k of development done for free, but the point of the post is not actually to talk about the money, its to let go of the blocks of:

      Too expensive to do
      and not having the right developer

      It's an exercise to try to get some minds turning and see what people have to say. Honestly the most profitable idea might cost 10k, 5k or 1k to bring to market. Really not sure, just want to see what people come up with and find a way to make it win-win for everyone. Not even sure how to do that yet.

      I'm putting together a site though to try to aggregate this effort though, please check it out and give any feedback. I threw it together in an afternoon when I wasn't getting much response on this thread.

      Going along with your signature, I DO believe there are lots of profitable ideas out there and if you tie the people who have them to the people who can make them happen....... You get a lot of reasons TO do it.
