Looking To Set Up Affiliate Tracking Aweber?

Hi,

I'm looking for someone who knows how to
track Clickbank Affiliate ID's in Aweber.

I have a rough idea how to do it...

But I could really use a pro.

I would like to capture Clickbank
affiliate id's so when I mail out
I can include the affiliate id to
who sent the traffic my way.

I know, I need to add a hidden value.

Such as "aff id"

And I'll probably need some Javascript
on the page.

If anyone knows how to do this please
PM me as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Craig Beckta

Craig, it's not very clear exactly what you're looking for.

I'm thinking that what you wanting to do is store the referring affiliate's ID in your list member's Aweber record...is that it? I'm assuming you're a CB vendor and this list is a buyer's list.

What do you need the javascript for?

A few more details on the workflow would be helpful.

      Hi,

I would like to track affiliate id's.

Let's say Hoplink: "cooldude" sends traffic
my way and 20 of his subscribers opt-in to
      my squeeze page.

I would like to capture the affiliate id "cooldude"

So that when I send out an email blast the link
      would look like www. yourdomain.com=cooldude.

So that the affiliate that sent the traffic gets their
affiliate link sent back to their subscriber.

That way their sub gets re-cookied when they go
      back to the sales page.

Also it would allow me to do a pre-launch lead
      contest.

I would be able to count the opt-ins for each affiliate.

1st Shopping Cart does it but Aweber needs a little
      tweaking to capture affiliate id's.

Hopefully that is a little more clear.

Anyone know how to set that up?

I'm interested to know how to do it too. Is that done by some affiliate scripts?

I believe what Craig means is that, Affiliate A sends visitors to his squeeze page at Craig[dot]com/affiliateA so that he can have pre launch process etc.

Then we need something to capture the affiliate id so that during a launch, visitors who buy the product will still be remembered under affiliate A's id right?

I can't find this info anywhere so far...

I recently promoted a clickbank product that used a squeeze page. There was no way to buy anything on that page, but I got credit for several sales. Obviously, they tracked my affiliate ID through their email campaign. How'd they do that?

I think the above paragraph is what the OP want's to know. It's what I want to know too since I really did promote such a product and made sales.

By the way, I opted-in myself to see what autoresponder they're using: it's Aweber.

There's of course a way to do that if your affiliate program or affiliates script you use allows this feature. It would be caught by a special Javascript code embedded in the form's code. The autoresponsder system you use must of course support custom fields.

I use Delavo (I do consulting too) as my affiliate tracking program and this feature IS available and works very well the way you want and describe.
