How do you add youtube videos to warrior forum posts?

QUESTION: I'm trying to add a YouTube video to a warrior forum post by using youtube embed code, but it won't view. I've tried via the view html source option and the HTML editor standard view but doesn't work. Is there a particular way of doing this?

ANSWER: Its far simpler than you think, just insert the YouTube video link into your post, here are some screen shots with some specifics...

Just copy the video URL here and make sure you have the option

Automatically embed media (requires automatic parsing of links in text to be on).

Just a quick heads up for anyone trying this.

The video doesn't show up in preview mode, only after you post it.

Thought I was doing something wrong, but finally just posted it and it showed up.

In many forums with BB code, you just put [YOUTUBE] [/YOUTUBE] tags around the embedded code and it works.

It seems this does not work for the Warrior Forum Blog that war room members get access to. I post the link and it just makes a URL out of it but will not embed.

This doesn't work with modified url, for example, with "embed" (the new iframe format), or "rel=0".

This is shockingly bad, it means I can't use my sales video because of all the sh*t youtube wants to show everyone afterwards.

  The first time I wanted to post a WSO I was hesitant as if it would work or not, the real problem I see is that when you are creating your WSO and you are not approved, instead of showing the video you'll see a link. Once you get approved it will change.
  
  The same happens when you are in the test forum, it shows a link, but once you submit the post, it will show the video

It is not that tough. You just have to copy the URL of the video and check the option

The first time I tried to post a video on my WSO thread, I was really worried that I only saw a link and not the embedded video.

I it turned out it is so simple.

To repeat what was said here: until your WSO thread is approved you will only see a link.

After approval - embedded video

hi,
when you want to post any video link try to find the share/embed button in the video that you are viewing. they provide a special code which you can enter in your post & that will automatically fetch the video from the server.

You just copy the video URL and paste it in your new post. For a WSO, the Youtube video doesn't appear when previewing (only it's link is shown), but no worries because it will show up in the final post.

When you relpy to a post here at WF you will see this icon :
Click it and insert your new copied youtube link.
Make sure you DON'T put in the twice as it already appears when you click

in other words, there sometimes is a delay between the forums ability to render the post, and the actual video comming up.

If you wonder why your Youtube video doesn't show up, it because you doing it wrong:
1. Don't use the youtu.be domain = Wont Shows Up = http://youtu.be/mrj87764RoQ
2. Don't use the default embed code from youtube
Sample:

Still it wont shows up the video
3. This is Important : Use The Link from your Youtube URL Address Bar, But Sometimes it shows with the https like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrj87764RoQ
Results Still Wont Shows Up (Just remove the S so it become http)

That's ironic. I copied and pasted the url of the video above, which shows how to embed YouTube videos in posts on Warrior Forum, but it won't display.

I have never had any problems posting videos on other forums, only this one. Maybe the forum's code needs to be modified to make the process easier.

HERE IS THE SOLUTION - Although I have done this many times before, I simply forgot how to do it...

Step 1: Go you YouTube Video and Copy the url
Step 2: Go to your WSO Thread and Click Edit > Advanced
Step 3: Click on the Link iron
Step 4: Paste your You Tube url into the Link box
Step 5: REmove the "s" from "https" at the begining of the url
Step 6: Click Preview - It should work (SEE SAMPLE BELOW)

I've tried via the view html source option and the HTML editor standard view but doesn't work. Is there a particular way of doing this?
