How can I learn programming fast?

I joined warrior forum today to basically get ahead and hire a programmer.

To save myself some money, I would like to know if anyone has any quick tips, easy fast guides to making cool marketing type pages myself.

Good books are helpful but videos are best.

      From Kernighan and Pikes' "The Practice of Programming": "nothing can take you frmo neophyte to expert in 21 days", which I think is a sly dig at all those "Programming Language X in 21 days" books.

      The only way to learn is to
      (1) read a bit,
      (2) do a bit,
      (3) think about what you've done
      (4) go back to (1)

      There are no shortcuts, I'm afraid.

    You don't have to learn programming to "making cool marketing type pages" yourself. Learn how to use Wordpress instead, it's a lot easier.

        As stated above, nothing can get you there "fast" per se, but you can get a good footing on things within 2 weeks to a month. To become proficient is another story.

        Go to youtube and look up some tutorial videos about the basics and work your way up.

        Remember, don't rush. Anything worth doing, is worth doing well.
