Wordpress - Top Menu Nav Modification

Hoping someone could help me out... im using wordpress on my site and im trying to figure out how to remove/exclude the tabs/pages on my top menu navigation.

the specific tab i want to exclude is the 'about' page and its child pages. (i already have them in my footer)

can anyone help me out?

One of the easiest solutions is a plugin like this . . .

WordPress › Exclude Pages « WordPress Plugins

or you could use the 'Menu' function under 'Appearance' in your Admin Panel, if your theme allows it.
