Anyone know of an exceptional developer wanting to join a startup?

The startup is in the automotive industry.

Willing to give founder shares.

    No offence but this line "Willing to give founder shares." will never work with pros. Most of us have been burned before. I'm still waiting for my millions to come in. Oh yeah, that's right ... THE START UP FAILED.

    Here's advice that will get you off the ground: you will have to pay good money for excellent programmers but in return your project will go somewhere.

    Programmers are lazy and if they sense they can make it on their own by modifying your idea, you're doomed (The Social Network anyone?).

    • Sorry, but this post is simply not true. There are tons of devs that love startups with exceptional track records. The unfortunate part is they're unable to attend an incubator, which is something I didn't disclose in the OP.

      I had two before posting this thread, but their family life wouldn't allow for attending an incubator for 3 months.

      Any developer not willing to take founder shares is a developer I do not want. I want a dev in it for the long haul who knows his value is more than what he'd get paid for this project.

      A similar idea, but still flawed, just received $4m funding this year. Series A funding. Their valuation is around $10m.

      The cofounders still have majority share, each with 25%. Over $1m isn't too shabby for one year's worth of work.
