New Super Fast List Building Method used by Frank Kern

Hi to all Warriors and War Room Members.

In this post I want to discuss how to implement very cool method of list-building that Frank Kern used in one of his recent campaign.

You may or may not know about it, but here is what it's all about (it really blows my socks when I first opted-in by such cool, little sneaky mechanism - if someone already discuss it and how to do it programming-wise, please give a link):

1. You come to his mini-site, where in video format he sells you to opt-in (and promise you another super-cool video once you do it).

2. Ok, so far so good. You opt-in get an email with new link to another mini site with another video. But under the video you get something very cool and here is where it starts to get really interesting.

In order to get a next super-cool video, you have to successfully opt-in 3 of your friends who could also be interested in this topic.

So only if "his evil script" gets 3 successfully opted-in referrals, you will get next super-cool video.

So I'm clueless on how to get this techniqally, so let's discuss how it can be done.

I'm sure that with great valuable content you can get a huge list super-fast... yes, not all of them would be super-interested, but nevertheless, all of us could benefit from this if we also could make it happen in our businesses.

So what do you need, to implament this method?

Could you make this with ordinary autoresponder similar to aweber AND good php-programmer or do you need some super-expensive custom-build autoresponder that will be integrated all in one?

Tim

It cannot be done with an auto responder for sure. It involves scripting which gets triggered whenever fulfill the requirements of the first level and it sends you a link of another video on the second level and so on. Buts defiantly its just not an auto responder.

You would definately need some coding done to achieve what you want. Wouldn't be all that hard to do but it will cost a few dollars.

yeah its just a 3 step process. Logic structure is just validating if the user has done all the requirements. Very similar to having an affiliate hoplink. When the system has detected that he has submited his mail and brought a few friends under his account, it allows him to view the content. Requires database.

I would recommend trying an affiliate php script. Could probably find one on hotscripts.com

You could sure do it with autoresponder. Aweber allows you to redirect after submission, and confirmation.

1.) Set Cookie and session on opt in page.

2.) Have aweber return them to a page that checks for cookie/session (browser probably never closed so the session is still there - cookie is just a back up). Validate at that point.

It's done with the GKLM like Steve mentioned above.

We've developed a version for Wordpress call Viral List Creator but I'm not sure if Dax is going to sell it as a stand alone product, or keep it bundled inside our List Machine Pro.

I know at one point they gave it out as a freebie in the War Room, but I'm not sure if that is the up to date version or not.

Franks good karma deal is pretty slick, but I wanted something more customizable (i'm a coder) so I whipped one up myself in a single PHP script... I've thought about polishing it up like my lifetime affiliate tracker (see my sig)

It's a neat idea but it's a non-trivial implementation no matter how you cut it. You have to store usernames, passwords, counts, and it has to integrate into your autoresponder and website.. it's also database driven so there's all the SQL injection and cross site scripting hacks to secure.

I've actually been thinking about how I could polish mine up and release it. It's simple to understand if you know PHP but I'd guess most people aren't super comfortable cracking open notepad/textedit/whatever and slinging code. I've also been thinking of a way I can incorporate it as a plugin to my lifetime affiliate tracking code.

What features would those interested like to see?
