Has anyone got any experience of adding information from a site into an aweber account?

I have a form on a website that captures the initial details of a user then post through to a longer form. After the short form is submitted, I save that information into my databse for future use but I would also like to add it to an aweber list so I can send a confirmation email as well as a follow up sales funnel.

Is this even possible? I know they have an API but apparently it is read only.

  • If your current form is PHP based, I can help you with this. I have several forms that when a visitor submits it, they are also asked if they want to subscribe, if they select yes, then an email is sent to aweber and they then receive the usual "click to confirm" email. If you want some assistance, just let me know and I'd be happy to give you a hand. Thanks.
