Is it possible to automatically have my latest Wordpress entry posted as a Tweet on my Twitter account?

Yes, there are plugins that can do this for you. The most notable one that comes to mind is Twitter Tools.

Just enter "twitter" in you plugin admin search panel and you will find them all.
