All those "software" generators pretty much suck. You can do a lot with imacros (free firefox extension) or ubot.

Seriously, most of these builder apps are based on .net, and vb syntax is so damb simple, and the amount of help and resources available with a quick google is huge.

I look at some of the syntax for doing anything slightly 'advanced' in most of these quick builder programs and think wtf?

Find a good fourth generation language and play around with it, there are several good alternatives, an engine is the logical result of a 4th gen language variant,

Just google 4th generation languages and engines, this is the future, and it is where you should be looking.
