Free A/B split testing plugin for Wordpress pages

Max Foundry is giving their MaxA/B split testing plugin away for free. I haven't used it yet, but I am planning to set it up on my homepages so I can test different layouts to see which ones are most effective.

  • I have just tested MaxA/B by Max Foundry, for 24hrs.

    I was sceptical, as the plugin does NOT require any pasting of tracking code into the pages. And indeed it appears that the plugin does not count either visitors or conversions.

    Seems like a pointless waste of time (if I'm mistaken, please reply as I would be happy to be wrong).

      The plugin is very easy to implement, it does count visitors so useful for simple tracking but it doesn't count the conversions so not really that useful for split testing.
  • There are some good split testing plugins for WP. the one mentioned isn't one of it...

    have a look in the WSO section, there recently has been a WSO about that.
