FACEBOOK FAN PAGES (IFRAME)

Is there an easier way to integrate facebook fan pages with the pending change to the iframe system?

I can see how to do it via adding application and directory details etc. but is there a simpler way?

I want to set up a system for my customers and first needed to know if there were any other options.

    The best way forward with the pending March changes are to make sure that any existing offline or online clients are aware that you are upgrading them, if you have already sold them FBML pages in the past, this is a great up / cross sell and will help when they get the arse due to only just paying out on last years FB craze!

    iFrame is a 3 to 4 step process no matter how you do it, even using a couple of new scripts written for this years changes, it still take a bit of time... will be interesting as to where it all ends up :-)

    Best thing Ian is to practice until you can complete an upgrade or new iFrame page sale, in your own time and a simple template and then move on from there

      Thanks Flip, I'm not as hands on as that as our system will auto build the fan page, I just wanted to to see if we could automate the upload but looks like it won't happen just yet.

    FB have put certain "aspects" in place due to the massive influx of crap from last years craze with FBML, so it is likely, other than the coding issues and age concerns to FB corp, that the iFrame will allow a lot more control at FB, this in turn will make automation harder, but in some ways, when they hit 1 billion users next year, it will not matter as the % of people coming on will allow for the extra work invloved in making client pages to be worth the manual effort, only time will tell hey Ian :-)
