I need help to set up a simple affiliate program

I'm setting up an online store and want to offer customers a $50 one-off payment if they refer a friend.

I've looked at various affiliate software but they all have too many features for what I need. I just need a simple script that will give a one-off payment for a referral. No ongoing tracking is required.

Does anyone know of anything that would be suitable?

A simple custom affiliate system could be setup within an hours work. Feel free to private message me to discuss in more detail.

I'd say plan for growth. Even if a more complex affiliate script requires more time to get it working it will be worth it at the end.

If person A refers a person B and A gets paid or receives a discount he/she will be more likely to send more people.
Think about it if the link is shared on Facebook/Twitter and assuming that on average people have 400+ *friends* or 500+ followers ... your product could get a lot of exposure.
