silly question from code illiterate guy

Hey guys, I know nothing about programming. Would appreciate your advice.

I'm setting up a website targeting 100% offline customers. I'm going to buy a WordPress theme for it.

You can see a preview by clicking the picture.

Just wanted to make sure everything's compatible since a lot of my customers will have old computers/slow connections and outdated browsers/software.

I noticed that it requires PHP 5, is this server side only - or will it cause problems on my client's end? Any additional suggestions?

  • Not sure what the problem is.
    All you need to be sure of is that what ever server the site is on, is running PHP5 and up.
    Any WordPress theme is going to require PHP a database and a server to run WordPress itself which then loads the theme.

    So either way, if your looking at WordPress, these items are required.
