how can i protect from cookie injection?

hello ,
these days i am developing price comparison system (i will give her source code for free :-) )
i use in the admin panel with cookies and i want to protect from cookies injection , does anyone have an idea?

It pays not to store sensitive info in cookies. data goes in the database.

My advice is that if you are not sure of what you are doing, always get someone with experience to handle it. If your system is going to be public-facing, then watch out.
