Question about wordpress

Is there anyway to put my registered members name on a blog post like you would use the shortcode "{!firstname}" like in aweber?

I thought I seen a plugin that did this somewhere but I can't seem to locate it anywhere (if it exists).

  • If you're needing a membership plugin, google s2member. It's free, and very good. It will do what you seek.
  • I have a membership plugin. What I am looking for is a plugin that will allow me to insert some shortcode and show my registered users name in a blog post when they are logged in.

    It would be a lot like the {!FIRSTNAME} function that Aweber has allowing you to personalize your emails by having the subscribers first name in your email to them.
