Wordpress Plugins Not Working Though Activated

Hi Warriors,

I recently did a re-install of wordpress backup on a new wordpress theme and also upgraded wordpress to the latest.

Since then a lot of my wordpress plugins have not been working, though installed and activated.

Kindly advise on how to rectify this.

Thanks.

you should backup your old wordpress first before doing upgrade to new one.
i ever had this problem too.

    the solution is:
you must remember the old wordpress version and reinstall using that version.

      Hi,

Are you using any cache plugin ? If so, deactivate those plugin and re-activate again.

Thank you, but i will like to get to know how to solve such problems by myself, as there is value in learning how to carry out the relatively minor tasks.

I will thus prefer a guidance by someone willing to assist.

Thanks all the same and i will remember to contact you in case of more major tasks.

Yes i am using W3 Total Cache. I de-activated it and re-activated it again but it has not solved the problem.

      Thanks scottmann.

Are you saying for example, that if i was using wordpress 2.9 before and now 3.1, i should roll back to 2.9 and then re-install the plugins on 2.9?
