Need an aweber form code!!! Please help me!

Hi,

i'm creating a plugin, but i'm not subscribed to aweber OR OTHER MAILING LISTS.. and i need the form code. but as my plugin has to deal with mailing lists, i need to have the form code so i can embed it correctly!!

Can someone please post one so i can use it to create my plugin!

I'M NOT ASKING TO BE ABLE TO SUBSCRIBE TO YOUR LIST, I JUST NEED TO LOOK HOW THEY CREATE TO FORM (HTML/JS CODE ETC)
REPLACE PERSONAL INFO, I DONT NEED IT!

If you help me i'll remember your name (in a good way of course)!

Thanks in advance!

How about just signing up to Aweber? Don't they still have that $1.00 trial period?

I don't know a lot about coding, so maybe my understanding is incorrect here. From what I know of Aweber when you create a form, it is linked to your own account and the variables in the form are associated with your account.

If somebody gave you their form code, would that not be giving you access to some of their private information and maybe even be against Aweber TOS?

I don't really know that, but it seems that it might be the case and perhaps might be a reason for folks being hesitant to give you their code.

i don't need to know personal information if it is even included in the form, which i really doubt.. anyways change it to some random numbers like 1234 it doesn't matter.. i just need to know how it is structured so i can restyle it!

So if anyone want to help me out! Please post! OR PM!

    Hi there

Hmm.. well to be honest, you dont actually need an aweber form code in order to have a plugin work with one You can check on their site for information on how it works...

Their API does not work this way yet with the Aweber form from what I know of, so your developer will have to do a silent form subscribe or hack for it to work at this time. You do this by posting to their subscribe link address with the list name..

If you use a service like Imnica Mail, then just ask them for a copy of their API and that will allow your developer to integrate easily.

If you want to really be sure your form code works though, I would just grab an account. First of all you can get a cheap test drive, or just pay for the lowest membership level whilst you test. It will be better for you to actually test the plugin to make sure it is working correctly, which if you are not the owner of the form, it will be hard to do!!

    Just worth a thought.

    Thanks i really appreciate it!

It helps a bit but unfortunately not enough. But i've found on a youtube tutorial that you can get the RAW HTML CODE of a form in aweber.. (it should contain form tag and probalyl some hidden tags) if just only one person could post/pm it here he receives my plugin for free when i'm done!

EDIT: NVM, i think i have enough information found! Thanks though (if you still have code, freel free to pm me!)
