58-page html site to wordpress free instructional videos?

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone knew of some good instructional videos I could watch to do a step-by-step conversion of my current html/css website over to WordPress.

I want this to transition seamlessly so my site isn't "lost;" i.e., anyone out in cyberspace who clicks on a link to my current website or one of my current site pages will end up on my new blog pages.

I just downloaded a really cool theme that will work perfectly with my current site; in fact I like it better than my html/css layout. But thinking about copy/pasting 58 pages one by one is giving me a headache and I haven't found anything decent on YouTube.

Any suggestions? Is there a way that this can be done sort of automatically or semi-automatically?

This is for my transcription site - see my sig.

Thanks!

The most important thing is to make sure all your old pages are re-directed to your new pages, because the URLs will be different.

I don't have a video, but this article goes through that and some other things to think about:

Great article, Martin! I like your "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" suggestion. Maybe I'll just leave well enough alone with my current PR2 ranked static site and use my blog for shorter articles, quick tips and videos and concentrate on other things to get traffic besides Google.

Probably could have been done copying those 58 pages by now
Abledragon gave you some good info, I would suggest following it.

58 pages isn't so bad, you could probably get that done from a fiverr.com-er...
