I am having the same problem. I am using wordpress 2.7 which I also uploaded through fantastico.

My pages are alphabetized. I would like my home page to be first which it isn't.

Also, I would like my posts to appear with the newest at the bottom. It will make more sense to my readers as well. I have looked for a plugin but have yet to find one to do this.

@msray - my category order plugin and my page order plugin are the easy ways to do what you are looking for.

@imon32red to make your home page static publish the page in 2.7 then go to settings/reading and choose it from the drop down menu as static front page.

My page order plugin is the easy way for you to do what you want as well.

Thanks for such a quick reply. I will go look for my category order plugin and my page order plugin now and try them.

Can I ask you one more thing since you seem so wordpress savy?

Now I'm running into a problem when i'm editing posts with say 3 paragraphs ... hitting the "update post" button ... and they all get squished into one paragraph. this is very annoying LOL

what would cause that? Do you know How I could stop that from happening?

hmmmm, my category order worked THANK YOU VERY MUCH ... but the my page order doesn't seem to arrange posts. is that just me doing something wrong? or is it because it is made for page order not post order

I've been impressed with My Category Order, My Page Order, My Link Order, and the other plugins that they have released. I have, however, found them not to work on occasion because of the way the code was written in the template. They have been responsive with support.
