Gazette Theme Slider HELP

I need help in removing the arrows and "featured stories" black box in the slider.

Also would like my post tags to be hidden in the theme (not removed). Want them to still be seen by search engines.

    By hidden you mean that user can't see them but they do still exist in HTML?

      Yes exactly. Other themes I use do not show the tags except this one.

        Go to your WP Dashboard, then click on Appearance-->Editor

        On the right, find "featured.php"

        Edit that file and change:

        <span class="clicker"><?php _e('Featured Stories','woothemes'); ?></span>

        to

        <span class="clicker"><?php _e('Featured xxx','woothemes'); ?></span>


        where xxx is whatever txt you want
