Subscriber Grabber

I have a simple site. All pages are .aspx, so I have .net capability but haven't really done anything with that.

Here's my question:

I want to create something simple on my web site where users can input their email (in a text box) and then I grab that for a subscription list. What's the easiest way to do this?

(I don't have wordpress and do all the html manually in Visual Web Developer.)

  • The simplest way is to sign up with one of the list management services like Aweber, MailChimp, or GetResponse. They will provide HTML and/or JavaScript code for you to include in your pages to display a subscription form.

There are other advantages to using such a service for your list as opposed to trying to manage the list on your own: better delivery rates, forced compliance with anti-spam laws, ease of use.

    HTH.

    • That's the second time I've heard AWeber mentioned in as many days. Time to get serious! I didn't realize it could be done with simple JavaScript. Thx for the tip...
