I have a wordpress blog and only 50% of the pages have been indexed. According to Webmaster Tools the blog is a year and a half old and I submitted 2,009 pages in which only 703 are in the web index.

When you do a "site:" for blog.nyrajuskincare.com it shows only 947 results. Still no where near the 2,000+ pages I have submitted. Can someone please help me?

My site's URL (web address) is: blog.nyrajuskincare.com

Thank you,

Robert

Have you submitted an XML sitemap? You could add a plugin to your blog to do this.

Get this Free Google XML sitemap plugin directly from wordpress.org, generate the sitemap and it will submit automatically

Submitting a sitemap is good way to get known to the search engine. But also make sure your navigation links are proper html (not generated by flash, or javascript) because web crawlers cannot access them this way.

When you use Google's "site:" parameter it doesn't show all the results in the index. Unlike the retired Yahoo Site Explorer, Google only shows a subset of results. I've never looked into the completeness of webmaster tools data so I can't really comment on that.

Also, make sure your pages don't have duplicate content accross your site. Sometimes pages may not get indexed because of this penalty.

Sign up for an account with Google Webmaster Tools.

Submit your website's sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools.

Doing the above will get your site to be crawled by Google's spiders faster and more smoothly.

There are many factors that contribute to how your website is being indexed by search engines. You will have to do a few testings to get your site fully indexed successfully.

    Good Luck! =)

There is no guarantee that Google will index them all even if they know about them all, which they probably do. The best way to keep a page indexed is having links point to it both external and internal.

some of the pages that are not indexed may be hard coded in java script. This might be causing the problem.

All the pages will be indexed slowly by google. It take time to get them Indexed.
