Hello... I just finding an old thread, and I want to save my opinion for future here.

VPS= Virtual Private Server and it was a child of Dedicated Server and Dedicated Server is born from a Collocation Server on a Data Center. If You have a dedicated server, then You can make a VPS. And VM is shorten from "Virtual Machine", From the words I cannot separate the VPS and VM as deference thing because it was same point but on function and defernt on uses. The VM is more flexible mean, a company who sell VM services/ products can selling VPS, but If a Company named with VPS it will not seen as VM Seller. I know my english language is bad, but I hope it can be useful later.
