Pay for view TV

We are a web based TV channel that charges for content. We have already upgraded to the licensed version of JW player. We are looking for a solution to avoid subscribers from being able to share our content once they have paid for it (via paypal).


Any ideas?

  • I guess you are using a CDN (like amazon S3), so you need to block direct access to the video files and use some sessions to allow streaming of these files.
    whislist member is a great plugin for wordpress that do that.

    that being said, you better remember that there is no way to "seal" your content (try to google any Hollywood movie or expensive software and you will find it floating or cracked), so try to find the sweet spot and don't "over protect" your content.
