Any good and free alternative to VirtualMin ?

Hi all,

I got a VPS with CentOS 5.7 on it. I was not interested in CPanel due to the monthly fee. I opted for VirtualMin from the Hosting

I tried all the tutorials from the internet for installing WordPress on VirtualMin/Webmin but no use.

I've been scratching my head from ten hours but i just can't make it work

finally i get this error "Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress."

Can anyone help me with this or suggest me an alternative to Virtualmin that has Script Installers !

    Well, then try installing it, by running...

    yum install php-mysql

    Restart apache and if that was what was wrong, you should be good to go.

      I ran the installation but this is what i got


      # yum install php-mysql
      Loaded plugins: fastestmirror

      Setting up Install Process
      Package php-mysql-5.3.8-2.el5.art.x86_64 already installed and latest version
      Package php-mysql-5.3.8-2.el5.art.i386 already installed and latest version
      Nothing to do




      Also i tried Stopping and starting MySQL and Apache servers again. But i am getting 403 forbidden error from that

      this is the error for both the sites www[.]gensparkmedia[.]com, www[.]choicebasket[.]com


      Forbidden

      You don't have permission to access / on this server.

      Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at www[.]gensparkmedia[.]com Port 80
