Hi there!

Is it possible to find a PHP script similar to zocdoc.com?

it should support schedules and search by location/zip codes... I am Ok to buy it but I dont want to outsource it to elance, etc.

any ideas?

Thank you

  • Hey Remymartin,

I don't think this is an out-of-the-box script but rather something that is custom made to pull data from the database.

This is nothing overly complicated, if you have a (mysql etc...) DB in place, any decent programmer should be able to create some forms that pull data according to your specifications.

Any reason why you DON'T want to do this on freelancer, elance or whatever?

    Cheers,
    Rob

    • Well, I want to take an existing script and customize it or rewrite it using my own resources... (one of the reasons - I don't want to depend on external developers when I need to add a new feature)

At the same time I don't want to do it from scratch myself because it's too much work..
