Wordpress URL Problem

Hi, I have wordpress blog. I Changed its Permalink for post ..

like site/year/month/post name.html & it works fine

But in Category pages .. URL comes like :- site/category/Category Name

But i want that The Category page should come like Site/Category Name


How can i do that ?

    On plugins page, search for "WP No Category Base". Works on latest WP versions and automatically gets rid od the word "category" from the url. Also automatically handles rewrites and redirects so nothing gets broken... I use it on about a dozen blogs. Hope that helps.

    I use the "Wp htaccess Control" plugin to remove the category base. There are other plugins that can do this too.

      Thank you guys i got one plugin called Wordpress SEO - Yoast !

      Its really better plugin then "All in one SEO" it has lots of options & it even shows Snippets ... superb Plugin i guess wordpress users should have a look on it.
