WP Plugin developers... Odesk?

Hi guys, I've a few ideas for WP plugins, particularly Amazon.

I've very little experience with Odesk... but it seems pretty cool.

I posted a job, just laid out basicly what I'd need... and have had bids in... around the $40 mark, for the whole job.. which seems awesome.

Does anyone have experience with Plugin development on Odesk... or Freelancer?

If it's a really cool idea... whats to stop them just stealing it?

Is there any sort of confidentialitly stuff you have em sign?

Am I being paranoid?

I don't think that anyone would steal an idea but you could probably send a PDF of a document and get them to Electronically sign it if you wanted.

I have used oDesk for a while and no one has stolen any ideas. I'm sure that oDesk would have Terms and Conditions about the matter to avoid it.

I haven't used oDesk either, but maybe they already have something that addresses this issue? Also, you could easily just create your own agreement and send to the person you are going to work with like Ben said.

On a sidenote I would bet that many people there wouldn't be interested in stealing your idea, they are there to make money building the software/plugin. They probably have no interest or would like to avoid all the work that would have to go into marketing a new product and supporting it for all the new users.

we WebInstnce have developed a custom wp plugin which design pattern is MVC. It is easy to create. From command line, set some instructions in the command prompt then the plugin is ready to use from the admin panel. You just need some database design ideas to set the instructions to create the wordpress custom plugin.
