How Do I Put A Live Person On A Website?

First of all I am not looking to hire an agency for this.
I want to do it myself and also in hopes of marketing this to local companies and to my website clients.
I am partnered with two TV production companies who can do the green screen production and also a TV spokesman who goes to my church.
I have the ability to do this but am looking for the scripting to be able to take the actor and put him on the website.
I know this involves swf and java but am getting a brain fart when trying to do a search for such scripting because the keywords I am trying are getting me nowhere.

Thanks
Steve

I know what you mean, I have seen how to do this but cant find it now.
You could always try looking at the source code of sites that use this already.

Try searching for "virtual sales assistant"

*link* is that what you're looking for?

I have too little posts to link it... just Google: intitle:[Talking web site - Flash Video Demos - Live Talking Person on your]

If it's not, there's bound to be another result that fits your need.

    Hi.................,
If you want to host live person, you can use Blogtv.com or ustream.tv and embed the player on your site. you can use any web cam and there is no software because everything happens in the browser. Some regular video cameras can be used as web cam. This is just my opinion but I think it would be better if the live feed was onthe video hosting site too so more people will see your site.
    Hope I could help.

Steve, I do exactly what you are trying to do. First I shoot my green screen video. Then I import it to sony vegas pro 8.0 and use the chroma key function to make the background transparent and render it as a quicktime movie. Next I import the new quicktime movie into adobe flash cs3 pro and encode it to a flash video. The key is to tell flash to encode the alpha channel. Flash will out put everything you need to a folder and you can then put it on any webpage you like with any color background as it is now transparent. Both of these programs if you dont have them yet have a 30 day free trial. If you need more help you can google how to encode flash video or let me know if I can provide more detail. Good Luck. GPF
