im going to http://www.mysite/2082

and im geting this on the log in page

SSL encryption is required for access to this server.

log in using ssl

i click on log in and im getting this

There is a problem with this website's security certificate.

The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address.

Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.

We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this website.

i take it i dont want to click on continue to this website (not recommended)
and if i click to close this webpage im back to square one.

The warning page is by your browser, I believe.
I clicked to continue and reached your cpanel login form. I wouldn't be surprised if you can log in an everything is fine.

I don't think cpanel needs ssl, but I'm not sure. If SSL is supposed to be set up on that page, then have your web guy do it when he gets back. Either way, I don't believe there is a virus or malware on the page, it could be doing it just because there is no ssl running or it is invalid.

Is it weird that when I manually change the address from https to http I get redirected to this address: "https://blinux.hrn9.com:2083/" <--You could try this to log in, but if you don't know that address or why it is showing up, don't log in, you might have been 'hacked'...who knows, but I doubt it, because your website looks fine otherwise. Ask your web guy to be safe.

The server certificate is probably self-signed, that's why you're getting the warning. Usually this isn't a problem and you can log in.

You can also go directly to https://www.mysite.com:2083

    Who's your hoster?

Usually nothing to worry about when it comes to cPanels, at they are hosted under different domain names.

Yes, I told you why you're getting a certificate warning, his server certificate is self-signed.

You can click continue and everything is fine, or you can remove the s from https:// and you can log in to cpanel with out ssl but that is worst then just clicking the browser warning continue.

I have been always used to :2096 and :2083 instead of :2095 and :2082 as they already execurted the Server with shared SSL certificate and they don't need any credential at the moment of log in.
