Add Twitter to Website

I want to add twitter stream to a website built in Wordpress.

It is easily done by the JS plugin but I want the twitter tweets as text so it can be readable by crawler.

So i would like to get suggestions for the same.

  • Have you checked out the Twitter Tools plugin? It's the best set of tools to have Twitter streams on your sidebar. Now whether or not the text gets crawled, I'm not 100% sure
  • I can do it using PHP so that the text can be crawled by Search Engines.

  • You don't need a plugin for that,you can use a twitter profile widget directly from twitter,add in your twitter user name and customize the widget to your sites colors and then copy and place the widget code in a text file in your widget area on your site to want it to be displayed.

  • Adding twitter button to website is really important.
