Hyperlinks on Squidoo

I'm a relative newbie, and I've read and followed all the advice I can find on adding hyperlinks to a Squidoo text module, but mine still don't work. They just keep getting changed back to <a>anchor text</a>. What am I doing wrong? :confused:

  • Why are the descriptions of items on my squidoo lens missing?

    So I made a squidoo lens, linking books from Amazon with squidoo, and the titles, links and thumbnail images all showed up no problem, but the description/recommendation I had added in the "description" section on the menu doesn't show. I've tried searching for an answer but have had no luck. Any ideas?

    I also have a mini desk top hyperlink maker included in my WSO product also.
