I'm getting confused about hosting and stuff. I only had experience with shared hosting. But I'm reading a lot of stuff that shared hosting can only take website traffic to a certain level. I have an idea that hosting affects how fast sites load and how much traffic it can handle (although I don't know how the technical aspect works). Am I correct in understanding that the generally the "levels" of hosting are shared hosting => cloud shared hosting => VPS hosting => cloud VPS hosting => dedicated hosting? And what's the deal with the "managed"? Anyway, theoretically if I want to build a wordpress-based website that expects 100k average traffic per month. What's the best one for me to use? I don't know how to install wordpress manually (always used fantastico or simple script, which most shared hosting tend to have) and only have experience with cPanel. Any recommended hosting services?
