Creating a bulleted list with my own images

PROGRAMMING

Hi Warriors,

I am trying to create a bulleted list. Not very big only 6 points. What I am having trouble with is adding my own images. I am using wordpress for the site.

I have searched online and tried myself but with no joy. I would want each point to be a question mark image and each one be a different colour.

I am starting to pull my hair out with this so just looking for some advice if possible.

I tried just using the WYSIWYG in the wordpress dashboard but this does not give the effect of it being a bulleted list. I did try a little CSS and HTML which I found searching online but did not work either.

You CAN have images as the bullet points in an unordered list (<ul>). The problem is, that the image would be the same for every point.

CSS Tip: Make Custom Bullets

Your best bet would be to use HTML/CSS and use simple <div> elements. Something along the lines of
HTML Code:

<div style="width:100%;padding-left:30px;"> <div style="width:100%"> <img src="/BULLET_ONE_IMAGE" style="float:left;margin-right:15px" /> Bullet Point 1 </div> <div style="width:100%"> <img src="/BULLET_TWO_IMAGE" style="float:left;margin-right:15px" /> Bullet Point 2 </div> </div>
Obviously that's just some quick and dirty markup, but it should lead you down the right path.

  I added the CSS file to the page itself within wordpress and then added the HTML code in html viewer and this worked a treat.
  
  I did play around with a few of the settings to line up the images and move the text but once you have done it a few times things start to fit into place and by just getting on and trying things you soon learn quickly.
