Shortcode isn't working on Wordpress page

I got a s2member (wordpress plugin) buy now button shortcode.

[s2Member-PayPal-Button level="1" ccaps="" desc="Full Member / description and pricing details here." ps="paypal" lc="" cc="USD" dg="0" ns="1" custom="*********.com" ta="0" tp="0" tt="D" ra="37" rp="1" rt="L" rr="BN" rrt="" rra="1" image="default" output="button" /]

When I put it in the HTML editor on the Wordpress page, it just stays as writing when I go back to "Visual".

Everywhere I look, people say to simply post the shortcode into the html editor..

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

  • Check out the other plugins you're running on your WordPress install, and disable all of them apart from s2 member - if the shortcode still isn't working, switch themes back to the a default WordPress theme. By now you should see it working hopefully! If not, report back!
    Good luck!

That's the way shortcodes work. You won't see a shortcode "in action" until you view it as posted content.

    • Great useless advice, braniac. A little something to boost the post count?
