How to get FB like, google+, etc. on asp site

Hi,

I have a site made in classic asp and would like to add a small bar (as small as possible actually) with the classic Facebook like, Google+, Twitter and LinkedIn buttons.

Do you know where I can find some sample code for this?

  • I make use of one of the button bars offered (for free) by AddThis.com

    You can see an example on my valleyseo dot net website, at the top right.

    All you have to do is copy that code. To make the page load faster, make sure to place the JavaScript at the bottom of your page. Otherwise will load all the buttons first... and that can be VERY slow (seconds.)

    I haven't had any problem using the code provided by these sites on my asp pages. Have you tried using the code supplied by the company, themselves (i.e. not via a 3rd party)?
  • Actually I haven't tried the code by the companies themselves. I should probably look at that as well.
