PROGRAMMING

K, I added a php form for contact us the form needs to link to mailer.php and verificationimage.php that are both located in wp-includes/contactform

prob i'm having is when I link

wp-includes/contactform/mailer.php

I get http://www.mysite.com/contact-us/wp-...orm/mailer.php and needless to say it's not there

how I get WP to no append the contact-us in there..

You're better off just using a plugin call Contact7 which will save you a lot of time and headache and is ready to use out of the box.

I was using it BUT I rather use my own work - I don't like the FREE stuff as they post links (just in this project anyway)

ABSPATH is a WP definition that will return the site URL base.

You can also try home_url("wp-includes/contactform/mailer.php "); which is a handy way to basically append something to the home_url.

Use the absolute path like "home/public_html/yourdomain/wp-includes/contactform/mailer.php"

However I also suggest contactform7 plugin. It does not post any links if you do not want.

So I installed Contact Form 7 and unless I'm missing something (well I know I'm missing something) I can't figure out where it says to 1. Edit a form in Contact Form 7 It's not in the settings menu nor in the widgets?

either one is working all I get is www.mydomain.com/ + what ever i enter home/public.... don't get it.. how is one to link to something.. if I out the whole thing I still get the domain then whatever I put

mm community forms takes 2 seconds to set up AND stores everything in a database for future reference.
