How to retrieve the Paypal transaction ID and price from WSO Pro back to my website / server?

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know a simple solution to get the Paypal transaction ID and price from Paypal via WSO Pro.

In WSO Pro you can enter a re-direction URL to re-direct the buyer to a thank you / download page on your site. Normally via Paypal you can re-direct to a URL and you can grab variables such as ?tx=563532456445W&cc=USD&amt=37.00 for example.

Does WSO Pro re-direct and provide these same variables? Does the re-direct come from Paypal itself, or from WarriorPlus.com?

Is there no other solution but to use the IPN?

I also need to create a licence key via an API which I can do, but it's just the transferring of Paypal data I'm wanting to know.

I hope someone can shed some light on this.

    Using W+'s IPN would be the easiest way to go...

    Just a heads up - the transaction id you get is different from the transaction id that the buyer gets.

    This will prevent you from verifying the client later by asking them to provide their transaction id ... it won't match what you have.
