I've been away, and not 'wired', too busy busking. Aaaargh.

Anyway, here's a question...

Within the locked content of a membership site, ( with members being affiliates...) is it possible to create a Facebook comment plugin that when an affiliate member posts said comment, it goes to their Facebook wall, and it in turn creates a new member from that comment, could that plugin attribute that existing member his affiliate commission.

My reasoning is that for affiliates to advertise, put up banners and such can be a 'slog', but by leaving a fb comment it could generate a commission.

I hope my ask! Is understood, maybe a bit convoluted though..

I look forward to any replies you guys may have...

Regards

James.

You cannot autopopulate a Facebook comment. But you can autopopulate a link to be shared on Facebook. For the latter case to work and do what you want, you would need a script that builds the unique affiliate URL and attaches it to User X. You would need an affiliate service that allows this assigning of affiliates, hopefully a write API (though I do not know if that exists), if they are not already listed as an affiliate in your membership site. If they are affiliates and have signed up, it is just a script you need. Elance would be a good start for this.
